More than twenty years have gone by since this estate was first established. Its success story begins in 1997 when a count from Veneto with a passion for wine decided to pursue his dream. Deeply fascinated with Sicily, he purchased this beautifully situated property and set out to create high quality wines that could express the extraordinary potential of the region’s unique terroir.

The estate sits at about 650 metres above sea level and enjoys ideal microclimatic conditions: a favourable interplay of factors such as exposure, altitude, temperature range and ventilation lies at the root of complex, sophisticated, well-balanced wines. A praiseworthy green philosophy inspires the activities carried out here. The owners are indeed fully committed to sustainable, environmentally sound organic farming, adding to the estate’s excellent reputation. Local and international grape varieties of Inzolia, Catarratto, Nero d’Avola and Syrah are lovingly grown according to the laws and slow rhythms of Mother Nature and expertly turned into white and red wines that are receiving growing recognition both in Italy and abroad.
